Ain't no laws when you're drinking with Claus 🤪
If you're not familiar with SantaCon, it's an annual pub crawl where people dress up in Santa costumes or other Christmas characters. NYC is by far the largest SantaCon venue, and if you happen to be in town for it and are looking for a good time, definitely check out Stone Street, a charming cobblestone street with lots of bars, in FiDi!
In expected fashion, I waited until the week of to order my costume, and Amazon was wiped clean of Santa suits. I ended up finding a reindeer onesie and decided it would be fun to give the deer makeup look a try.
We decided to stick to pregames / house parties in Murray Hill and Wall Street this year and made it to a bar not favored by SantaCon goers called Fitzgerald's Pub in Kips Bay. It was nice being able to avoid the busy East Village bars, and I had so much fun with my friends and loved seeing everyone's festive looks!
MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Brows: Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse - Tarte ($29)
I love this pigmented and waterproof mousse because you only need to use a little bit at a time, and my brows always come out looking so natural. It even comes with the shape shifter double-ended bamboo brow brush, which I really like.
Eyeshadow: Tartelette Tools Beauty 101 Palette - Tarte ($20)
As y'all probably know, I've been trying to cut down on the number of makeup products I use, and this is the only eyeshadow palette I currently own. I love the neutral colors, and the looks I can create using it! Here's a review I wrote when I first got it.
Eyeliner: Eye Opening Liner - UZ ($16)
This was the complimentary eyeliner I received from UZ's Instagram campaign. Overall, I like the intensity and how smudge-proof the eyeliner is. Check out my post for a full review of the product!
Mascara: Climax Mascara - Nars ($24)
I received a sample of this mascara and love that the lightweight formula gave me a visible curl in my lashes without them feeling heavy or stiff while also providing buildable volume.
Bronzer: Bronze Goddess Powder Bronzer - Estee Lauder ($45)
This powder bronzer from Estee Lauder is incredible! I have a pretty oil t-zone, and this formula that contains a unique oil-control complex keeps my forehead and nose shine-free.
OUTFIT DETAILS
I procrastinated way too hard again this year (when will I finally learn?), so pretty much all the good Santa costumes were sold out everywhere. I was able to find a Reindeer onesie from Amazon though, and got the Adult Christmas Onesie for Women Sherpa One-Piece Pajama in XS! It was huge on me, but the sherpa fleece fabric was soft and kept me warm and cozy.
