Palm trees and ocean breeze with salty air and sunkissed hair!!
We stayed at a charming periwinkle home, which we found on Airbnb, in Leeward, and it was so close to the beach! It was an incredible trip, and my first big vacation since starting my job in NYC last July. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice and quiet getaway. I've picked a couple of my outfits from the trip and posted links below each picture. Scroll to the bottom for a more in-depth review of our Airbnb.

THE AIRBNB
We had an amazing host Shawna, who was very thoughtful and provided us with directions even before we arrived. We had decided against an all-inclusive resort since we wanted to be on our schedule, explore the island on our own, and wouldn't be needing most of the amenities.
The Airbnb itself was located in the Leeward Community and Leeward Private Estates, a private gated community at the tip of Providenciales. Shawna had great amenities and put out chairs and umbrellas for us to use on the beach, and her husband even brought us fresh coconuts one night!
THE ROOMS
The rooms had a chic beach feel to them. There were 5 of us who went together, and the Airbnb was spacious with plenty of room and more for all of us. I stayed in the master bedroom with 2 other girls, and the king bed fit us comfortably.
THE BEACH
The Airbnb was in such a convenient location - less than a 5 minute walk to Leeward beach! We went to a couple of beaches around the island (Grace Bay, Long Bay Beach) but enjoyed the one closest to our Airbnb the most since it is quieter and more private.
We were able to walk out and watch the sunset over the ocean every night—it was beauuutiful!
ACTIVITIES
One of the excursions we went on during the week was booked through the tour agency Caicos Dream Tours. We picked their most popular activity, the snorkel and conch cruise, which was a 4 hour trip that includes gear, alc, water, conch salad, sandwiches, and snacks.
THE FOOD
There are plenty of restaurants on the island to choose from. Some of the ones we visited that were cute and had a fun atmosphere include da Conch Shack, Bugaloo's, Jack's Fountain, and Bella Luna. The island's characteristic food is conch, and I tried a bunch of different conch dishes such as grilled conch, conch salad, and conch fritters. If you're a big fan of seafood like me, I would recommend giving it a try!
