I keep having to remind myself that April showers bring May flowers because we just get so much more rain on the East Coast than what I was used to in California!! My sister came to visit me this weekend, and it's always so nice to see her!
I brought her to Lroom Cafe, a cute spot opened by the online flower shop LROOM Boutique. I have been wanting to go since I had been seeing it all over my Instagram Explore page for awhile.
The minimalist cafe close to Union Square is so trendy and stylish with its shimmering coffee and tea and floral and fruit-shaped desserts including in the shape of lemons, peaches, and roses. They just look too darn pretty to eat!
She got the Bling Bling Matcha Honey Latte with edible glitter, and we shared the Wonderland egg waffle, which was sooo yummy and colorful with berries and flowers as decoration.

OUTFIT DETAILS
I bought this top that I'm wearing (Kimchi Blue Caroline Ruffle Top in White) from Urban Outfitters probably about four years ago at this point, and it's currently sold out, so I'm linking a couple from places I like to shop at.
St. Roche on Intermix | Superdown on Revolve | ASOS | Moon River in Natural on Nordstrom Rack
Although a bit shorter than the tops I'm usually comfortable with wearing out, it is so flirty and feminine. The material itself is stretchy and so soft and I just love how flattering the double ruffle is!
The button front miniskirt with a raw-edged hem that I'm wearing is so versatile. I got it towards the end of last fall, and it seems like Pacsun doesn't carry it anymore, but Levi's also has a similar style that is super cute.
I paired the outfit with one of my favorite shoes, a low-platform with metallic twill upper sneaker from Sperry that I bought two years ago. I have it in Rose Dust, but you can still get a similar style and color (Gold Metal but not a platform shoe) for under $40 at Nordstrom Rack!
